Write for us
We welcome clear, original pitches about creative attention and small experiments with colour, light, texture or sound in ordinary settings. A useful contribution gives readers something specific to notice or try without requiring special equipment.
What makes a strong pitch
Send a concise outline through the Contact page. Name the central idea, the reader it serves, the fresh angle, and what a reader might notice or try afterwards. Explain the proposed shape of the piece and mention any sources needed for factual or historical claims.
The right fit
We favour focused subjects with a distinct point of view and room for honest reflection about what may not work. Avoid pitches built around sweeping promises, costly shopping lists, professional advice or claims that an activity produces the same result for everyone.
Before sending
Please submit your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include relevant writing samples only if they help explain your approach. A pitch is a proposal, not a guarantee of acceptance or publication.
Curiosity is a creative tool
You do not need a grand plan to begin. A small observation or a quick experiment can change how a familiar place feels.
